Why has my cotton blanket partially faded in color after washing?
If the cover was washed at an adequate temperature that is printed on the product label, it is likely that the partial fading has occurred due to inadequate drying. Cotton blankets and covers ( specially those of more intense colors) are not recommended to dry on direct sunlight or near some other direct heat source. Also it is not recommended to dry them folded on the radiator as there is a possibility of color transferring from one side of the cover to the other.
